Looking at a photograph one day, peta decided that my dog needed to be killed, and told me so flat out in a RUDE comment on my blog.

As of this moment, all money I have gathered for your organization, PETA, is revoked. I will donate it to a local animal shelter.

I used to think that peta was a legitimate organization.
Now I find I was wrong.
They’re only interested in your money

Bob Basso-Modern Day Anslinger

No, not the words he is using, but rather his well versed method of delivering his radical speeches.

The man is no amateur…Bob Basso found work as a supporting actor in many TV series programs, from Charlie’s Angels to Hawaii Five-Oh, even Rockford Files and  Barnaby Jones.

So, his indepth knowledge of political workings are most obviously lacking.

But the man can speak, and speak he does. On his meteoric climb from TV to You Tube, Bob has put together at least two videos which claim great numbers of ‘hits’ although a quick check will bring one to realize that he has actually gathered a small army of extremist right-wingers who, among other things, claim that President Obama does not sit legally in the White House, that our congressmen and senate are guilty of treason (or just short of it) and that folks should start sending teabags through the mail system. 

All this while in the guise of Thomas Paine.

That isn’t the scary part. He does it using speech techniques of adolf hitler while spouting  a Thomas Paine-like rant about his power to recognize reality from what we have been led to believe. The impetus being he wants God back in the Government equation, he doesn’t want to be taxed even though his income is well over that of most Americans’,  wants to kick all foreigners out of the country,  and an end of the electoral college. Well, I suppose he also wants to walk around in his late seventeenth century garb, too, but, hey. Who am I to criticize his clothing? All of my jeans have holes in them.

Now, while I do like the idea of term limits, a return to the freedoms we were promised in the Constitution, and the inclusion of our congressional and senatorial folks into the tax rolls, that is not the point. His method is. His creating a mob scene which plays over and over on the You Tube machine nightly is. His enabling people who want to kill other Americans is.

While some say he has two million hits? No. Some just go back and forth from the one video to the other, some raking the mud, others reacting to it.

A grand show to only one end.

His own buffoonery. At the ultimate cost of our freedom and well-being.

Can one man control the entire government from the sidelines?

Well, take for example:  Harry J. Anslinger.

Here is his driving motto, and answer this one question….

Is Marijuana illegal?

HORSE and BUGGY again?

I don’t think the goverment should be in charge of bailing out the Horse and Buggy Industry, because they knew for decades this day was coming and they did not handle it well.

Likewise, for the government to bail out banks so that they, too, can return to ‘business as usual’ doesn’t seem a prudent gesture, either.

I realize many jobs and investments are tied into this deal, but, the fact is, there are other ways to survive this trying time. Instead of investing in the same clowns that drove this country to hell in a handbasket (thanx a lot, george, you pin head!) perhaps it’s time to re-examine the future and how we can make paths towards it.

If it’s the nation’s highways, then how about building an extra lane for slower moving traffic, as most ‘non-motorized’ vehicles are banned from the roads.

Has anyone considered that (gasp!) it’as not the bad economy that’s hurting housing industry, but rather because those things they call houses now-a-days are designed after the housing of the 16th century? How about more of that future thinking here? Into the ground living, more energy efficient, solar power access, wind access, ….less ‘box on the ground with rooms’ stuff.

Simply relaxing some of te archaic thinking would do great bounds to help.

Did you know that cars aren’t allowed to be ’skinned’ in carbon fiber? Even though it is a proven advantage in milage and strength and in repairs.

Marijuanna has run it’s course as one of the worse ideas this government ever let loose onto the world. Yes, the world.

Without any scientific factual study, or even a popular vote, it was decalared illegal, and now over 45% of our jail’s populations are filled with folks who just smoked a little pot. That would be part of the 9-12 BILLION dollar expenditure eavry year to keep it illegal. Well, here’s 95 million adults who partake in some form of marijuana entertainment every month THAT WOULD LOVE TO PAY TAXES! Say around $50 every three months , and that adds up to near two billion dollars a year income for the government. Not to mention the new jobs from the industry. Not just people sitting around getting high, either. Materials can be made from hemp, strong canvas for heavy duty use, clothing, even footwear.

That the government is more concerned with running a ‘business as usual’ project is what most worries me.

Well, nevermind, now. I have to go hook up the horses for a ride into town.

I don’t believe in racism, although that makes it easier to determine some difference in which to make a predefined consideration of a person.

Whites hate white people for their belief systems, and yet, what word would we use to decide what that represents?

That a man is black or white or red or brown or yellow or extreme white or short or tall or young or old or fat, short, fluffy, taught, drop-out, buff, sloppy, lumpy, muscle bound, tired alert mad happy friendly alone courteous deceitful mean-spirited sad buddhist christian muslim atheist catholic jew hindi politician hermit leader follower….
